Sculptures at The Canyon Suites

We are fortunate to have 11 sculptures in our Collection by the renowned artist, Alan Houser (Haozous). He was born in Apache, Oklahoma of Chiricahua Apache and English Descent and raised on a family ranch where he learned of his culture through his father’s stories. He originally gained recognition for his paintings depicting traditional, Native American life and ideals. In 1992 he was awarded the National Medal of Arts by President George H.W. Bush.
